Book a free intro callWindsor sits at the far southwestern tip of Ontario, further from the province's specialized programs than almost anywhere else in the south. I work with people across the city and Essex County online, which makes that distance stop mattering.
Lauren is based in Guelph and Toronto and works virtually across Ontario. That means people in Windsor can access specialized nutrition counselling without travelling to a clinic, while still working with someone registered with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
You may be looking for general nutrition advice, but many people land here because food has become louder than they want it to be. You might be dealing with restriction, binge eating, guilt after eating, fear foods, body checking, or feeling unsure whether your eating is serious enough to deserve support. It is enough to start a conversation.

Sessions happen by secure video from wherever you are in Windsor. Nothing to prepare, nothing to weigh.
We work at your pace toward a calmer, steadier relationship with food and your body.
Every person who reaches out is met where they are. These are the main reasons people in Windsor and across Ontario look for this kind of care:
Nutrition support for anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, ARFID, orthorexia, and eating that feels frightening or out of control.
Compassionate, weight-inclusive care when food, exercise, rules, guilt, or body image have started to take over.
A non-diet approach to binge eating, emotional eating, and the restrict-binge cycle, without shame or more rules.
Gentle support for food anxiety, fear foods, avoidance, and the slow work of feeling safer around eating.
Help for chronic dieting, body checking, food guilt, and rebuilding trust with your body at a steadier pace.
Work with a Registered Dietitian online from anywhere in Ontario, with receipts for extended health reimbursement.
Because care is virtual, I work with clients in Windsor and nearby communities including Tecumseh, LaSalle, and Amherstburg, as well as people right across Ontario. You do not need to live near a clinic to get thoughtful, registered dietitian support. You can also browse every Ontario city served.
Windsor is at the southwestern end of Ontario, across the river from Detroit, and every publicly funded specialized eating disorder program on the verified provincial list is in Toronto or Ottawa. That is not a trip you make weekly. For people here, the question is rarely which program to choose. It is whether specialized care is available at all without moving your life around it.
Virtual care changes that answer completely, and it is worth being blunt about the scale of the difference. A session by video from Tecumseh, LaSalle, Amherstburg or downtown costs you fifty minutes. The same session in Toronto costs you the better part of two days across a return trip. Over a course of care measured in months, that is not an inconvenience, it is the difference between doing the work and not.
Some of what is available costs nothing. Body Brave, based in Hamilton, delivers virtual recovery services and states on its own site that they are free of charge, that no referral is needed, and that virtual services are open to individuals aged fourteen and older. If money is the barrier, start there rather than here.
Private practice adds an individual, scheduled hour on the nutrition side. That means working through what eating regularly again looks like when the day has fallen apart, what to do with the food rules that have piled up, and how to sit with foods that have become frightening. It is not medical monitoring and it is not therapy, and it does not replace a hospital program if that is the level of care the situation calls for.
Windsor also has a large student population through the University of Windsor and St. Clair College, and a lot of people who come here from elsewhere. Being far from your own doctor when eating starts to feel unmanageable is its own difficulty. Because I am registered with the College of Dietitians of Ontario and work virtually across the province, care can carry on if you move elsewhere in Ontario, which is often exactly when it would otherwise stop.
